Tapati is a annaul festival, held since 1975, on the Easter islands (Rapanui) and consist of a multi day festival with lots of tourists and islanders attending.

The Easter island (Rapanui) is a small island outside of Chile. There is a five hour flight from Chile departing 2 times per day. The Tapati is the yearly festival that is both celebrated among the islandes and are visited by a lot of tourists.

The festival dates back to 1975 and there are serveral different events during the festival. Most famous is the down hill race that often is viewed by everyone on the island.
